Living & Working in Great Places

Erin

Anyone else having a hard time finding something for this summer?

I don't know if it's me, or the fact we've already had 14 seasonal jobs or what, but I'm just not feeling excited by our options so far for this summer. We were thinking maybe whitewater rafting, or maybe a resort somewhere in Vermont or Massachusetts, maybe somewhere in Colorado, or Michigan, or Minnesota, or even something in our favorite state of Alaska, but nothing sounds terribly exciting... The interviews we've had haven't sparked the butterflies in my belly like they usually do. We've had a couple flaky ones, and we've had a couple places sound excited about us and then flake out. Anyone else feeling this blah about the summer opportunities? Hopefully something good comes up soon!

Hey Erin,
Are you guys open to finding your own place? Give these guys a look; they're new on the site:

That might also be a cool little town to live in.

What kind of job are you looking for this summer anyway?

I don't know honestly. My fiance and I have done a bit of everything (we're currently working at a ranch, which is our 14th seasonal job together!) - from resorts to kayak rental companies to helicopter glacier flightseeing to bed & breakfasts to hotels and more all over the country. We're just looking for inspiration and something different. :)
