Living & Working in Great Places

I will be arriving in Anchorage next Thursday evening, and will be there through Monday morning. I would love if anyone has any suggestions on places to eat, museums to see, trails to walk, best photo opps...anything and everything. I want to pack as much into the four days as possible! I will be staying at the Spenard Hostel, so I'm not too far from downtown, but willing to go anywhere in the city for an adventure:)

Check out the museum @ Wells Fargo downtown. It is free and tells a lot about how people subsisted off the land. The curator knows a lot and it fascinating to see how people got by in such a harsh land before technology.
