Hi
I don't know much about this but I do suggest you do a little more checking before you change your visa. A h2b worker must be sponsored by the employer who must be pre-approved to do this. you cannot go out and look for jobs as a free agent as an H2B employee. at least that is how it works in my experience in the forestry industry.
If you look at some of the websites on Coolworks I have only noticed mention on hiring J1 applicants.
so don't jump on this until you look at all the angles

As an expert in H2B visa issues, you need to know that all of the H2B visas for spring 2009 are gone. There are none available, even if an employer has an approved labor certificate. No employer, agent or otherwise can file an H2B petition for you now, especially if you are on a J1 visa and still in the country. Also, under new regulations that went into effect on January 18, 2009, any program fees that a worker pays to a recruiter are to be reimbursed by the employer regardless if the worker is in country or out of the country. An in-country H2B worker can transfer/extend their current H2B visa to another employer providing they are still working for the company named on their H2B/R visa or extension paperwork.
