Living & Working in Great Places

My husband and I are selling everything to move and work in Death Valley this fall. Fell in love with the area last summer on a short visit in July.
Both desire non-dorm living.... and do not have an RV. Not sure what our other options are? Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks!

There are no other options out here...they do have trailers, but 4 people share. You can pick up an RV really cheap out at rvtraderonline.com. There are people that will tow the RV for you (for a price). Had a friend have his towed from Zion to Flagstaff and they only charged him $300. The pay out here is good and your lot rent and food also are really cheap. It's a good place to pay off bills or put money away, since there isn't much to do here. Pahrump, NV is the closest town and is 60 miles away. You will need to apply a month or two before you are planning on coming out here. The "season" here is in the winter and we do have a lot of people returning...so the best jobs go early.

Feel free to ask...

Buy a camper, or rent.

Check out panamint lodge or springs... it's a small ma n pa outside the Death Valley NP. I broke down there once and the owner helped me out and offered me a job! It seemed like a nice place (in the fall), but who knows if folks got grumpy in the summer months.
