Living & Working in Great Places

If anyone lives or has lived in Death Valley's Furnace Creek Inn/Ranch, specifically in an RV, did you/do you enjoy it? Only concern is what if the a/c goes out in my RV!!? Considering this as an option versus the dorm-style living. Live in Ohio and not sure if it would be more cost-effective to buy an RV once in California, or drive one all the way out there. Anyone know...do people ever sell their Rv's there once they are done working? Just thinking we could buy one right there in the park if someone has terminated their employment.
Please share your experiences! Thanks, Vicki

I have been planning on buying an RV this coming winter and heading South too. Waiting to get to Death Valley to buy an RV sounds risky because even if someone wants to sell their RV you are not sure what condition it is in.
