Wonder Lake in Denali

I was wondering if anyone knew about employment at Wonder Lake in Denali. I know there is a campground there and didn't know if they had a employee their taking care of the campground. It sounds like an interesting job.

Most employment in that area is at lodges in Kantishna. Doubtful that there is anyone out there in the winter.; ▶ Reply to This

They have been doing it since the mountain appeared so I doubt they will be looking for a replacement. The only other employees out that way are National Park Rangers. Other options are The Backcountry Lodge (Which I honestly DO NOT recommend. The owner is a bad man and notorious both in and out of the park), Kantishna Roadhouse (good money and good people but be prepared to work nonstop all season) Northface Lodge and Camp Denali (small outfits and closest to Wonder Lake). You could also check with Kantishna Air Taxi (KAT) however, they are a really tight knit bunch. It will probably be hard to get in with them.
