Anyone know about housing cost in Girdwood Alaska for the winter

I'm thinking of staying in Girdwood, for the winter, and I wanted to know what the cost of housing would be, and maybe a little about jobs there...

most of the poeple work at alyeska doing the winter they have there own housing for 150 an check u have your own bathroom and bedroom its an 2br apt but u have buy your own food they have an shuttle to anchorage for the employees for 20 dollers

Rent is around 550-750 a month, depending on your roomie situation. Housing is scarce but the Alyeska Resort offers housing.... Girdwood is an awesome town and well worth visiting/living in. Chair 5 and a smattering of local restaurants offer jobs as well as the construction industry.
