Are there frequent power outages in Yellowstone?

I have heard there are frequent outages but was wondering from those who have worked there. Should I bring lots of spare batteries? Thanks!

Hi there! yes, there are frequent power outages here.... but almost all the areas are covered by large generators. most power outages are rarely even noticed by the public and locals unless they know what to look for...

Are there frequent power outages in Yellowstone.....is the Pope Catholic? Bring a ton of batteries cause the power goes out all the time. Actually a portable generator might even be better :-) as long as it doesn't make a bunch of noise.
