Anyone worked for or know anything good, bad or otherwise about B BAR Ranch? Thinking about giving AK a break for a summer and checking out MT for a change. Any suggestions?? And I refuse to work for any corporations.....
I applied last year at the B BAR. Had a good conversation with the guy but ended up not getting the job. Sounds like a great place though.
If you're looking at MT this summer you should consider the Pine Butte Guest Ranch. I worked there last summer and it was so great that I'm going back in the spring. Beautiful place great people. www.pinebutteguestranch.com
I ended up not getting a job either... so I am considering applying to Pine Butte as an office assistant, when you applied there did you have to go through the Nature Conservancy or just e-mail them directly. I filled out the application on nature.org and uploaded a resume but am wondering if I should e-mail them a resume to speed up the process?
Hey Lisa.. Hiring for the guest ranch is handled exclusively by the manager and office manager at Pine Butte. Not the cooperate office in Virginia. I would think a follow-up call or email to the ranch would be a great idea. I hope this answers your question:)
The most of Montana is beautiful and the ranch life is a whole lot different then the Corp. Resort. I'v been on three ranch's in the last 5yrs and loved it ea. time. Genuine people, docile horse's, wild life, bar-b-ques, family dinners, midnight fires, music.
