Being an Older Single Female

Anyone have any ideas? I really want to make new friendships it can be hard when most the people my age are married. Is there any place where there a more then average old single people. 40s that's really not old but it's not 20 something either.

I'll party, camp, hike, play cards or watch a movie with anyone who's cool; and by "cool" I mean anyone who enjoys the little things in life and isn't an asshole. If you end up at Lake McDonald find me and we'll have a drink and catch some fish.
