Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

Had a bad experience going to Hawaii at my own expense to work as a bus driver for Polynesian Adventure Tours. After a lot of expense and trouble getting an apartment and getting settled in I got 40 hours of paid training OVER A MONTHS TIME(!) then got left out in the pasture to rot. We were supposed to call in every day so it was not possible to plan anything and after calling in dutifully every day for a month was told "You have the day off." each time. This was incredibly insensitive and inhuman, especially in a place as expensive as Hawaii and in the current state of recession. I essentially paid my way to Hawaii to make $432. This doesn't include the $170 I had to pay to get a TWIC card and my official documents. It wasn't a good example of the aloha spirit.
