I agree. I keep having to switch windows just to make my chat words go through. and then not all of it gets through

well now it won't even load, so guess there is going to be a big delay with chatting through the chat program.

I cant even get it to work for me yet, I know some people never knew there was chat untill I told them, but now its impossible to find unless you have a map.

i can connect either i thought it was my computer so i restarted the computer still cant connect so i must not be the only one

Hey Folks -

I'm just as frustrated. Unfortunately, at the moment I don't have the power to bring back the old one, although, I really wish I could. This was an upgrade by Ning and it was pushed out to all of their 800,000 social networks so it wasn't our choice. I've commented on their blog and I'm sure that many others will do the same.

Ning is generally very responsive so I hope that we'll be back to a sense of normal soon.

I am so sorry for this trouble. It's certainly not good timing for us with job decisions being made everyday.

Ugh.

we know its not your fault Kari. I think we all should storm the Ning HQ lol. this is a critical time for them to be doing this and a really bad time, with everyone heading into the new season.

Yeah, not your fault. Are you keeping in touch with Ning? They should have given some notice on this, and even better would have been to beta test the new chat with us, while keeping the old chat up. Who better to beta test than all of us here? But yeah, they should have warned us first.

They were updating us, but we should have been updating you. However, I don't think all of us as network creators knew how different this would be. I just popped over to another network I am a member of that also actively uses the chat and they're not happy either. Lots of "sighs."

Ah, that's okay Kari. Although, it's not too late for them to put the old chat back while they fix the new one. Hopefully they backed everything up.

Regardless, we'll all get through it. We'll go insane first, sure, but we'll get through it! :)
