coldfoot camp

When is the 'normal' hiring start there for the winter season? I sent my app months ago to try and work up there but have heard nothing from them.

they have an ad up today, and they are hiring now! Come on up, the weather is nice!

I would like to work at either Deadhorse or Coldfoot during the winter season. I didn't even find out about the camps until after they had already hired their winter help this season. Does anybody who has worked at these camps during the winter have a recommendation as to which camp is the most preferred place to work during the winter and why? My long term goal is to work in Antarctica.
