Living & Working in Great Places

I have multiple years in resort experience. But my Girlfriend is just starting out. Does anyone have any reconmendations for a couple looking for employment in the united states? That would include couples housing. Any information would be appriciated.

Most places will have couples housing. I thing the employers like the stability of a couple, they tend to be a little "mellower" than most, and won't have the roomate problems that most singles have. The only drawback is if one were to lose their job, the other is in a bad spot. I've had good success with my wife, so it's possible for sure. Good luck.

My husband and I have been doing seasonal jobs all over for the last 6 years. Couples housing has never really been a problem - only a couple places have required us to actually be married for couples housing, but it's usually okay. Let me know if there's any other questions we can help with!

Are you not U.S. citizens? If not, you'll need the appropriate work visas - a J-1 is for Work and Travel in the U.S. if you're a student. If not, you'll need to research getting an H2B. Tricky those. We have an internationals page linked from our CoolWorks homepage. Contact the agencies on that page to start your process.
Best wishes.
