Living & Working in Great Places

Thanks everyone for all the replies! It's been very helpful. I'm not sure exactly what kinda positions are offered up there but I'd like to work in one of the restaurants waiting or bussing tables or even cooking . That's where I have the most experience. Does anyone know what the best ones to apply too and if they do well during the season?

Generally people do very well at Salmon Bake, Princess, and Nenana Grill. However I have heard that tourism is going to be down even more than it was last year meaning you will have to be willing to take a chance; One simply cant tell. I personally have done my best in Alaska and I intend to stay (although Bar Harbor might entice me). If you like camping, you may want to camp for the summer and save on rent. I did that in Homer two years ago and it was awesome. Regardless, Denali is well worth it. The place is simply awe-inspiring.
