Difference between Retail Assistant and Sales Associate

I know Sales Associates operate registers and what not but what do the Retail Assistants do? I have not heard that term before. By the way, I saw it on DNC's Yellowstone site. Thanks for the help!

That's a new one on me too Rachelle. I suspect a Retail Assistant does just about the same job as a Sales Associate. They can't pay ya any less because they are already at the minimum wage for a Sales Associate!

i believe retail assistant is helping in apparel or gifts or grocery
sales is cashiering or working in confections serving ice cream and coffee
but at dnc they can be either or -or both
where ever they need someone that day
