up your password for your facebook or personal  email accounts  and even doing the interview process

No. I would question the legality of that!!

I agree.  There are a few questions that are illegal to ask in an interview.  That should be included on the list.  Anyone who complies with such an arrogant invasion of privacy should be tarred and feathered, since doing so will only pave the road for further intrusion on more invasive levels.  Those who ask such questions in interviews should also be tarred and featherd.

I do not facebook when I am at work so what ever is happening on my facebook is not an employers business.  This is scary what will they do next if people let them invade their privacy in such a way.
