I'm just curious, how many of you after this shutdown are now going to be keeping track of the dates to which the government is funded to and will be factoring this in to your decision to take park job/having a plan B if the cash flow dries up?
This would have seemed to me to be a crazy question to ask just a few years ago.....funny thing it now it seems like a common sense variable in seasonal cash flow equations, for better or worse. At least to me, anyway. 46 Rob
I've been thinking about that a lot rob and have to change my plans instead maybe I might try the east coast like club getaway or basin harbor club so yea its a concern
I agree this has become a real concern. Even if a complete shutdown doesn't occur it seems the NPS is a yearly budget cut target these days. The cuts seem to come right during the Spring hiring season so the entire system comes to a standstill while everyone tries to figure out how to avoid spending another 10% of their shrinking budget. It will definitely play into my planning, and is another reason I'm not willing to spend a pile of money to travel back to Alaska.
