In theory this should fit into my 2 suitcases; we shall see!
Stuff I think I can buy buy at the Walmart on my way to the Lodge
Nice list .... some suggestions....
* Make the fishing pole collapsible if you are flying - they actually sell poles designed to breakdown (both spinning and fly rods). Cheaper to buy this at home rather than in the park.
* Cutback on number of clothes items - don't take more than 2 of anything except underwear. For outer wear take only one of each item (such as sweatshirts). I would emphasize fleece over other materials.....light and warm.
* walking stick not needed if flying.
* one pair of each shoe type if flying.
Try to limit number of luggage pieces, and be certain you pre-weigh suitcase at home so you know you are under weight limit.
Couple little pockets to stuff socks, deodorant, and t-shirt in too.
I just had to take the laptop out when I went through security and put it in those airport bins to slide it through the x-ray thingy.
