Living & Working in Great Places

I made it to death valley and discovered why no one post much about it here...they just got internet.lol but it is great. i live in a rv and pay 120.00 month which includes water, sewer, electric(really!)propane!cable!all free. wifi is 40.00a month and you can hook up a land line,40.00 unlimited local and long distance. no cell phones at all. breakfast is free and served in the steak house(at night it becomes the steak house) it is buffet style.
lunch is in the edr mon-fri ,in the s.house on weekends, and it is free. dinner is in the edr every night and is $3.00, there is 2-3 "meat or cassarole type stuff" potatoes, veg, bread, desserts and a salad bar.everything was as (xanterra) said it would be and it is pretty laid back.plus it is beautiful. i hope this helps any future people who are thinking about it. oh yeah it is in the lower 80s daytime and 60s at night. hope everyone has a great winter.

Thanks for the info. Want to spend a winter there. How did you get on at DV? Got an offer at Bryce last summer but couldn't swing another season on minum wage. Wonder if I missed my chance by going with another company.
