This is my first summer working. Can anyone tell me about the bunkhouse and how much room I will have. And any other info you think I might need, please share. Thanks
you must be working in the laundry department those is the only one thats stay there if i remember you only have to pay 50 every week about 100 each check but you will have to buy your own food u might have 2 or 3 to in a room
yes I am in the laundry dept, do you know where I will be working it the laundry dept in gardiner?
you going to have fun in that if mia is still there she plays favorites the laundry is right next door to do is not a bad job its physical but its easy
I stayed in the bunkhouse for a couple of nights last winter. The room I was in was a transient room, used for employees who need to come up from the inner sanctum of YNP for whatever reason, so I am not sure just how the other rooms are.. The one I was in was quite large and even had a kitchen sink, stove and fridge. I didn't have need for the closet, so I honestly didn't pay any attention to that.
The bunkhouse is, however, quite old and could use some TLC. The RC (resident coordinator) who was there last winter (and I think is a fixture there) is great. She keeps the place shipshape. Maybe others who live there all season can give you better info.
your staggering distance from the blue goose. there's a grocery and bank around the corner. everything you need.
there's usualy pots, pans, etc. left in the rooms that previous peeps have left too.
