It's a rain forest, so waterproof your shell and boots before you go. Carry a camera! The up-bay tour is probably the most amazing thing you've ever done and you'll see TONS of wildlife to photograph. Carry a headlamp; the walk to the fire pit is tricky even when you're sober and I almost kicked a porcupine more than once. Buy a dry bag before you go because you WILL(W-I-L-L!) have to have one for kayaking trips; you will also need a compass. Make sure you have a watch because you will have to know when the high and low tides are for-once again-kayaking. Rain pants, for rain...and sitting in a wet kayak. A water bottle, always. Oh, yeah. Zip-Lock bags are handy for keeping your camera and iPod, etc. in to keep them dry. The every-day weather isn't really cold but when your on the boat you will want some warm clothes. Take some binoculars for the boat as well and if you have a zoom lens for your camera make sure to take it as well. G.B. is the most amazing place I've ever been and you will love it if being in the middle of nowhere doesn't bother you.
