Any Older and Bolder, Glacier Park, Red Bus Tour Drivers here that could answer some questions for me and tell me how your experiences were?
I was at Glacier last year. I wasn't a driver but associated with some. They all seemed to realy enjoy their work. I don't know about pay but I did hear good things about tips they got. The drivers that were at Many Glaciers live in a dorm away from the kids. They have many drivers ( mostly the older/bolder)that come back every year to work.
Thank you so much Ken. Did you enjoy Glacier? I am not so much concerned about the money as I am enjoying the job and the living arrangements. Not that I don't need money, lol. I am 55 with 12 years of commercial driving experience, I am certain I could do the job. I am not fond of the dorm style living, been there, done that and don't like it. Thank you for the insight. From all that I have read and investigated, the drivers seem to love their work. Thank you.
Wanna be a Jammer, huh?
It was a long time ago for me. I remember sleeping in different dorms, depending on where my tour ended that night, getting stepped on by a grizzly, and how absolutely gorgeous it was.
I think that older and bolder are getting larger considerations these days. Write a list of things you want to know and call the HR Dept. Then you'll get the most up to date info.
If you like to talk, and look at fantastic scenery, you should have a great time.
Thank you for the positive insight. Appreciate it.
