Living & Working in Great Places

Hello to any and all reading this. My name is Jon and I'll be working at Lake McDonald Lodge for the summer. I start on the 22nd of May but I want to have some fun on the way and have decided to fly to Seattle and then take a train overnight to Glacier from there.
I'll be arriving in Seattle on May 18th and boarding the train on the 21st so I'll have a few days to enjoy myself. I'm going to the Pike Market, Space Needle, Science Center, I-Max, Sci-Fi and music museum, chow down on seafood, empty the Pike Brewery of all of its Kiltlifter and whatever else seems appealing at the time. I'm looking to hang out with someone going to Glacier or anyone who lives in Seattle and wants to enjoy the city and have fun for a few days. Also, since I haven't really thrown down since I left Juneau in September, I am going to accomplish all of these things with a nicely maintained buzz(alcohol only for me). I'm not a weirdo(too much, anyway) and not a miserable person; quite the opposite. I just want to party like a tourist for a bit before I start being serious for work. So, if you will be in Seattle and want to hang out, or even better, are going to Lake McDonald, let me know on here or email me at echoes78@gmail.com.

Later,
Tilley

Well, it was worth a shot. If you come across anyone else going to Glacier tell 'em about this. Good luck in school and I'll see you at the bar this summer.

I'm working Glacier NP @ St Mary as a seasonal Ranger atarting May 28th and hope to hell there are decent microbrew selections at the nearby lodges on the east side!

I hope so too. I'm from Alabama and the ABC laws here prohibit any beer with an alcohol content over Budweiser's. ALL of our beer sucks. I love Kiltlifter though, and I plan on drinking a glass of each beer the Pike Brewery has on tap and if I can find a drinking buddy I'm going to split a pitcher of each beer.
