Living & Working in Great Places

I would like to start applying for fall and winter waiter jobs, I have one main goal in mind and that is to save money. What tips would you have for me? And where are the best places to apply?

I really need something now!!

I am just starting at the Grand Canyon Lodges-South Rim for Xanterra on the 6th of October. It took about 2 weeks after I applied. I am excited but anxious at the same time. It is my first "try" at this so I have no idea what to expect. I am 52 years old and hope to have a peacefull experience so I wonder most about the housing and dorm living. What I heard from Grand Canyon Lodge H/R is that it is an okay place cost wise. I can bring a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, slow cooker, TV...all should save a few bucks. Meals are in a employee dining hall and sold at cost with a 50% discount at other restaraunts.
