How to handle multiple offers/applications...
I'm sure we all apply to multiple places to broaden our chances of getting accepted...
I am curious how you handle it if you hear back from a "back burner" job before the one(s) you really want! I've put in multiple applications for jobs I wouldn't mind having, but the ones I really want haven't even been posted yet!
I'm concerned that I'll get an offer from a so-so job before I hear back from a dream job...

There is nothing wrong with accepting a job offer and then turning it down if something better comes along as long as you let the employer know in advance you won't be going to that job. In the seasonal world it is done all the time and employers know that.

I am worried about getting one job! Let alone getting offers for several! Anyone else have trouble getting their foot in a door?

coly is right there is nothing wrong with it every year i get at at least 4 or 5 offers for the summer sometimes its better then safe then have nothing at all
