Living & Working in Great Places

Anyone have any suggestions for good places for me to work next winter? I know it's kinda early, but the early bird gets the worm and all, right? I'm mostly just looking for something to compliment my summer seasonal work in Alaska, so I'm only available from October-March. I've only ever worked in retail and hotel/guest services, and I'm looking for somewhere that provides room & board for cheap, if not free.
So, ummm, I know that's a big order, but does anyone know anyplace good like that? I'm open to any suggestions, even out-of-the-US stuff!

Lots of places run in the winter like try in Texas, or maybe Yosemite in California. Free no, that is about as likely as a big fat 0.

If you ski or snowboard (or would like to), then look into working at a ski area. Most ski areas pay reasonably well and give employees season passes. In fact, if a ski area doesn't give a season pass, they're probably not a good company to work for.

Ski area work tends to go from mid-November to April and includes all types of work, both outdoors and in.
