Living & Working in Great Places
Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!
I'm a northern New Orleans fella, and I'm looking to see someplace new and beautiful with a bit of adventure to boot. Where are your favorite spots? If you've gone places, where have you enjoyed?
If you're interested in skiing and/or snowboarding, Park City, Utah was my favorite. For the summer, I liked working on the trains in Alaska the best.
Hi, my name is Bob. The North Rim always hire people. They do the process now for the next few weeks from the online applications. http://www.coolworks.com/forever-resorts/profile
I worked at North Rim back in 2008. Plan to work 2013.
I highly recommend trying out the Grand Teton Lodge Company in Grand Teton National Park. Its a great place to work and a wonderful place to spend the summer with lots of hiking and free employee shuttles into the town of Jackson about 35 miles away. They have a great reputation with seasonal workers with a 40% to 50% employee return rate each year. They hire about 1000 people between their three resorts in the Tetons. Check out them out through this web site under Wyoming or national park jobs.
Just make sure nobody steals the TV! lol :)
In the winter i would say Telluride, great ski town, probably the best in the country and not known in the cliques because its hard to get to but once you are there you don't wanna leave. Its not commercialized like some ski towns and doesn't have any big box stores or even any stop lights, sits in a box canyon with 14 pointers all around. The skiing/snowboarding is EPIC.
In the summer I would say either the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone! The hiking and camping in both places is amazing and so much fun. Plus if you are at the Grand Tetons the town of Jackson Hole is so much fun and the people are amazing. Well anyway hope you find a place that you can call your own even if its only for a short time!
