Living & Working in Great Places

Just wanted to let you all know that after 8 WONDERFUL days of driving across the country and seeing the wonders that this country posseses, i have finally made it to Bozeman. I applied for an apartment today, so hopefully that will work out. I start work on May 26th, but plan on visiting some of you in Yellowstone before that :-)

From the casino's of detroit and windsor, canada (where i won $130.. and then lost most of it)... to the rolling hills of Iowa... the nightlife in kansas city, missouri... and camping on the banks of the missouri river during a beautiful thunderstorm... to the badlands of south dakota... the faces of 4 influential and heroic presidents (i dont think GWB's face will be on that mountain anytime soon)... to the snowstorm in Wyoming... to finding out i was only 30 seconds behind my friend driving on the interstate and getting to see him unexpectedly in Billings... to getting off the exit in Bozeman and driving down Main Street, knowing that this place, surrounded by the beauty of snow-capped mountains, will be my home for the next 6 months.

my friends, it has been an adventure - one that i recommend every single person in this country do at least once in their life. it will change your life :-)

peace love and happiness to all for a wonderful season.

Bozeman is a cool town, what with all the college influence...check out Cactus Records & the Zebra Coktail Lounge downtown for really good local music, & Columbo's Pizza up on the campus for amazing italian food. The Museum of the Rockies is a must see too.

I can't believe you were probably in Iowa and Missouri the same time I was leaving Missouri to head to Minnesota..lol We might have drove past each other on the interstate.
