I wonder just how hard it would be in this day and time to throw a suitcase and camping gear into your vehicle and work your way up through California, Oregon, Washington? I mean, literally work (because everyone has bills, right)?
Thoughts anyone?

OK...you are making my mouth water (yes, I know that is supposed to be for a great food dish, but for me it means travel)!! I am all over this and have started making plans. Maybe not this summer, but next definately!!!! Thanks everyone for the advice!!

I wouldn't say it is impossible; but risky. I asume you don't have a camper, tent camping will be roughing it especially in inclement weather. Then the work thing: most towns have help wanted signs in laundromats, convenience stores; and such and the hourly pay is very low with no benefits most of the time.

IF YOU HAVE THE DRIVE; INIATIATIVE TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN AND WITH A WHOLE LOT-O-LUCK. Personally I would do a whole lof of research and have a few grand stashed aside. Pieere
