I'm working at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel and have talked to many people since my arrival. Maybe 1 out of every 10 people knows about the existence of CoolWorks. I'd suggest posting big colorful advertisements in all the employee residences. That would certainly boost awareness directly to the people who are interested in this sort of thing.
Thanks for the suggestion, Douglas. What comes to mind is "if you build it, he will come," but the CW version of "if we create it, will you post it?" Certainly having someone on site as our ambassador or someone there to get HR's permission would be awesome. If you're willing, I'm quite happy to put together a cool ad. :) Thanks for caring and let me know.
My roommate's girlfriend happens to be a full time HR person here, so the next time I see her, I'll ask if it would be a problem. I doubt it will be though. People post ads for whatever they want and no one seems to mind.
suprisingly enough lots of people here at the nr have heard of coolworks, but I know what ya mean, when I worked at the other places including Yellowstone not many knew about coolworks. Myself included when I first started out in the seasonal thing. I got that job because of a huge add in the news paper that you could not miss.
I'll post it wherever I can... :0). I found that the sweater I recieved from Bill got a lot of attention; Perhaps if it were made cheap and available to the Coolworkers it would help as well especially when college students go back to school or their homes. Would that be an option?
