Living & Working in Great Places

I love starting a new seasonal job and meeting all these new people....these new people who will be your friends, family, travel buddies, and maybe even lovers for the rest of this season...and probally your life. Some people have seen WAY more than you have and will be eager to share their experiences with you....and for some this will be their first time away from home and they will be soaking up everything you have to say like a sheet of Bounty.
You also get the opportunity to live in a place that you don't know like the back of your hand. You get to see places, things, and events that are specific to your new area....you get to become a local in some far off land. And for most people that is just a dream....but not us. We are the select group who knows that there is way more out there to see, smell, touch, taste, hear, and experience.

I met all but two of these people on a boat simply getting to where I was going to work.

I second your emotion :) I love the seasonal work, have only been doing it for 2 years but I've met some amazing folks. Plus it's great when you can get some of the good friends you met to follow you to your next gig. Our own traveling community :D
