I'm supposed to be leaving to work at Deer Valley the day after tomorrow.. They JUST tonight gave me my dorm information, which is that I have to stay at The Prospector for 5 days then will be living in Rivers Edge RV site??

The people managing the employee housing have given me barely any information, no addresses, nothing. And apparently rivers edge is 25 minutes out of town, has no shuttle to and from work, and i need to use my car to drive to work everyday.

This is not what i thought was going to be happening and is extremely last minute. I thought i'd be living in a dorm, in town, near my work. Not sure what to do or if anyone has lived in Rivers Edge, or Park city, let me know how this is supposed to work?

I am at the Prospector now i got in last evening
Im here until the 15th when i will be heading over to rivers Edge

call HR at the resort and ask to speak with George the housing manager.

Last i spoke with him he said their was a shuttle but i am not sure maybe that has changed

where did you hear that there is no shuttle to the resort from Rivers edge ?

River's Edge is a few miles from Heber City, UT.  It's next to the Jordanelle Reservoir dam.  I've lived there, and it's a better place to live than the Prospector dorm, as I've lived there too.  I'm guessing you told George or HR that you have  car.  That automatically makes you not eligible to use the shuttle to Park City, as it is usually very full (normally a 45 foot motor coach).  I work for a different company in Park City currently, but I can't imagine they'd stop running the work shuttle to and from River's Edge.  It's pretty much because you have a car.
