I've sent in two applications so far, and I'm wondering if it's ok to apply at more locations. I'm afraid if I just leave it at two, I'll end up with nothing this summer. How many apps do you guys send in every year?
Thanks for the replies guys! Shannan, I read your post and it cheered me up alot. It's nice to hear a positive, upbeat, success story. I've been reading so many negative things about seasonal work and have been getting quite discouraged.. Thanks!
That's weird.. I only hear good things about it.. lol.. I work in Dubois in the summers which is a really small town and basically everyone there in the summers is workin on one of the 10 or so dude ranches in the area and it's just a great time and place to be. I think seasonal work is awsome don't be discouraged!! That is one of the reasons why I think it is important to apply to many different though also because you can choose a little better pick for yourself!! good luck and please keep me posted... what kind of work are you looking for??? If your interested in Wyoming you should look into some of the places in and around Dubois it's a great place
I'm looking for anything! Housekeeping, Kitchen, a combination of those. I'm used to multi- tasking, and I know alot of the guest ranch employees do many different jobs. Thanks for the info on Dubois, I'll be checking that area out :)
