Living & Working in Great Places
Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!
It appears that there are fewer jobs with rv sites available than previous years. There has been the Glacier, Yellowstone, Teton openings, but very few other opportunities advertised. Not sure it is just a short term happening, or a trend in leaning towards the younger crowd. We have always used coolworks for our summer jobs, but last year and again this year we had to use Workamper News. We would rather use Coolworks, free, vs. Workamper News, subscription. Hope employers don't give up on us older folks. We enjoy being around the youngsters. Makes us remember when. Jim
Xanterra/Mount Rushmore has openings for people with RV's.......
Jason, thanks for the info. Got this year covered, but always next year, Jim
Hi Jim. If did a search in the search box for RV (on our site, not here on MyCW) and a lot of results actually turned up. http://www.coolworks.com/search?q=rv
Keep in mind that the little RV logo shows up next to the Profile listings but not individual job listings. So there are camp host job postings that won't have that logo.
Thanks for commenting. We'll continue to do our best to promote our site to Workamper employers!
Just FYI, the Forest Service has turned many of its campgrounds over to vendors and they now take summer-long rentals. The vendors pay the hosts in their own RVs a commission and small retainer depending upon the site. It is easy to commute into a neighboring town for some real income... I worked in Jackson and lived some 20 miles out in a USFS campground a couple of summers but wasn't the host.
