Seasonal video, photo or broadcast jobs?
Hello,
I am a professional video cameraman and AV technician. I've worked onboard ships for 3 years as a broadcast technician where I shot and edited video for corporate and promotional uses. I also worked with satellites and other TV equipment. Currently I do the same on land.
What I am looking for now is a similar position in the seasonal circuit. Are there any seasonal or park jobs that involve photo or video/broadcast services? Where? Does anyone here do this?
I love my career but also love to travel. I would really like to find info from people who may know or have worked with someone who does video work seasonally around the US or abroad.
Other than ships, I do know of only 1 place, Mammoth Mountain in California has a broadcast tech for their winter season. Any others?

The only type of job like that I've encountered in the seasonal world was also on a cruise ship. The company (Lindblad) does have ships all over the world, and with that job I think you can go just about anywhere.

Thanks for the reply AJ. Yes, ships are great but I have done it many times over. Surely there must be a seasonal broadcast or video job at ski resorts or summer camps. Anyone else?
