I've done some seasonal front desk work in nationals parks out west, but am looking to go east next summer somewhere on the coast, preferably Cape Cod area?? Looking for suggestions/reviews of any places on the coast that offer staff housing, anywhere from the coast of Maine to the coast of South Carolina, but like I said, hoping for Cape Cod! Any advice would be great! Also, maybe some information about what summers on the east coast are like (I've never been)?? Thanks!!
Walt Disney World is kind of good down in Orlando. They go through a lot of Housekeepers hire them. Kissimmee a town that is six miles away from WDW. Kissimmee they have weekly rate hotels $170. I did this for about six months after working at West Texas Big big bend national park. Once the online application is done with WDW. Takes about two weeks for interview and they hire at the interview. They do hire lots of people.
Not sure if you are still looking...
I've heard a lot of good things about the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club on Cape Cod. When you first posted this forum, I wasn't sure if thet offered housing...I just found out that they do.
Another place that advertised positions a year or two ago wsa the Monhegan Island Inn off the coast of Maine...don't recall whether there wasany front desk opportunities though.
I haven't been to either one...yet. But co-workers have and highly recommended (two in kitchens and one tennis pro).
Thank you so much!! I'm looking further into both!! Wouldn't have known about either without your suggestions!!!
