The Stanley Hotel

My husband and I have been wanting to work there for awhile, so we were pleasantly surprised to see them up on Coolworks again for this summer. We filled out the apps (which were long! the longest ones we've ever done, complete with some sorta IQ test) last week. Just wondering if anyone has worked there before or if anyone has filled out the apps recently and heard back from them yet. Thanks!

Permalink Reply by reggie on February 25, 2009 at 10:48am: hasnt work there but know about the place its got an history about the place they shot the shining there both versions and its susposed to be haunted u need to have an car there if u want to get around but its an nice area rocky national park is there then there the ymca fort collins is about 45 mins driving then theres loveland whiich is about mins then there denver which is about an hr driive; ▶ Reply to This

& the later one w/ Jake Weber was shot at the Stanley hotel, which is the hotel Stephen King had in his head when he wrote it. I'm a true King fan & talks about his settings & such in his books.: ); ▶ Reply to This

Manager asking when I would be available for an interview. I responded, and then nothing. I haven't heard anything again. Strange.; ▶ Reply to This

I will be going up to Estes Park and the Stanley on Wednesday to visit. She set me up with Molly in HR to show me around (including dorms). So far they've been very nice in answering my questions.
