Living & Working in Great Places

Seven of us Hamilton Stores/YPSS Mammoth workers from the summer of 1969 met in Gardiner August 14th and 15th for a 40th reunion!
I think I can safely say that a great time was had by all. Most of us stayed at the Yellowstone Village Inn, and ventured out to eat and take a tour of Mammoth.

There were many stories exchanged, and a lot of catching up done, and of course, many old pictures reviewed, and many new pictures taken. We heard some nicknames that hadn't been uttered in many, many years!

A special thanks goes out to Mike "Arky" Mills for arranging things, and also, a big thanks goes to Karen Low, who toured and ate with us, and filled us in on what has gone on in the park in recent years. Karen has worked in Yellowstone National Park for several years. Her parents, Jim and Sandy Low, met in Mammoth that summer of 1969.

I'm sure looking forward to the next reunion, but I guess we'd better not wait another 40 years!

Stir, that is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing. It looks like you just missed Bill by a couple three years. He worked for YPSS in the early 70s. : ) It's always nice when the "savages" return to Yellowstone.

I love it. It would have been great to meet you. My sister-in-law was just here for a visit. She worked out at Old Faithful in '66. Keep coming back!
