Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

i need advice on awesome hikes in a few places. we are planning a trip through the southwest this summer, and i have a few places which i want to hike in. i am not too familiar with these areas, but have been through them before so i have an idea. what are your favorite hikes in the following areas?

-escalante in utah (looking for colorful wavy rocks on this hike)
-the san juan mountains in colorado (we are thinking of hiking to uncompaghre peak, and mt. sneffels)
-the wind rivers in wyoming

any other cool little towns or places you really enjoyed visiting? ghost towns? hostels you know? we really enjoy places like silverton, colorado, or lazy lizard hostel in moab, ut.

any thoughts about cool campsites outside of yosemite? all the campgrounds are taken inside and most outside of the park, so right now we are staying at ghost towns outside the park.

i can't wait to go on the trip, and have been planning it obsessively for months already. any advice would be great! thanks.
