VA to Yellowstone by way of IL, CO, and Southern CA

Heading out to Yellowstone in a few weeks from VA...making stops in IL, CO, and then out to San Diego for several days before heading to YS. If anyone needs a ride from any of those areas or from anywhere in between please let me know and I'd be glad to pick you up if its not too far out of the way. Leaving April 15 attempting to reach San Diego by the 19th and West Yellowstone by the 23rd.

Hi Mark-- I could use a ride from Charlotte, NC to Boulder, CO if you have room-- I do have a 90lb. dog that would need to go with me and I also would be bringing 3 large duffel bags, so if you have the room, it would be sweet== What part of VA are you in? I could get a ride farther north to meet you--- I really don't want to fly because I hate putting my dog in the cargo hold, and renting a car is pretty expensive, so I thought I'd try some ride boards== Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you== Brent

I forgot so say that I'd be happy to pay for a bunch of gas, too :)) And I could cut down on my luggage if I need to it there's not enough room--

brent...i think that if you think that you, your dog, and the 3 duffels can fit in the back seat of a truck then i should have room. I have a nissan frontier crew cab, so the back seat is pretty much as big as a standard 4 door sedan back seat. I'm carrying A LOT of gear and my friend who will accompany me also has a little bit...but I think I should be able to fit all of our stuff in the bed of the truck ( I have a camper shell to keep it protected ) Anyhow over the next few days I will try to load up some of the items I'm carrying just to see how it all will fit and it'd probably be best for us to discuss this over the phone. So call me...540-312-5035...I'm in roanoke....leaving on the 15th...it'd be cool if you could get a ride up here but if not then we can probably make it work...when driving 36 or more hours across country I don't see a few extra to come and meet you as a big deal...talk to you soon.

Hi Mark-- Thanks for the reply to my posting-- It'd be great if you think there's enough room in your Frontier for me and my stuff-- I'm just not sure if my bags, dog (90lb. Chessie), and me could all fit back there relatively comfortably. Have you loaded any stuff to see if you'll have any room in the back? I think if we could sqeeze my bags back there somewhere, it could work, but otherwise I'm not sure.
I could definitely get a ride much closer to you and I'd be happy to pay for a large share of the gas if it works out.
Thanks Mark and just let me know what you think-- -
Brent
