When I worked there four years ago, they did urine testing right then and there as you arrived....it was part of the process of getting checked in and getting an ID card and getting housing. If you didn't pass, you didn't go any further in the process. I don't know if it is still done the same but this is what I have experienced. They also random test and I was randomed once in my five months there, good thing my party days are behind me, as they don't let you go back to work if you don't pass, you get fired on the spot. 40Rob
IT'S THE PUBLIC, STUPID!!! WE ARE WORKING FOR THE PUBLIC!! There are simply too many responsibilities and liabilities for a company to put a pot head or someone coming off a drunk in charge of lifts, sno-cats, binding adjustments, etc. You seem to want a paycheck AND to be any kind of jerk without consequences. Take a year off, go back to school (maybe take your pregant girlfriend along) take some English courses and learn to speak and spell appropriately. Take some of the metal off, cut your hair, go to work everyday without a hangover and you'll be in management someday telling other jerks why you have to let them go.

If they say they do drug testing it's going to be urine. That's been the case for my past 4 summer jobs, one in Yellowstone, others in Yosemite. Out of the blue they'll send you the drug test info that is time sensitive. You have a small window of time to do it. You call the collection center, make an appointment, go pee in the jar and that's it. The half life of marijuana is several weeks; amphetamines I don't know how long they take to get out of your system. My advice is to immediately stop using whatever you're concerned about showing up on an employment drug test. Having a fun summer job is worth it.
hair folicle testing can detect any drug use in the last year so someone that has reformed 10 months ago can pass a urine test but not a hair test that is why they want to know what kind of test is performed
