Im headed up to alaska for the summer and i was planning on taking some film cameras with me. Anyone have any tips on transporting film and keeping it fresh?

If you are not talking long term, no precautions really - limit heat and sun exposure (fairly obvious) longer than six months mine goes in at least two freezer zip-locks and into the freezer. tip leave the film in the bags after removing from freezer to avoid condensation. two years late haha.
