I highly recommend a visit to www.alaska.org if you want the Alaska scoop...great photos, lots of maps and driving/traveling info, info about tours, AND , for anyone interested in MPL, there's a 360-degree virtual online tour. Now I know what MPL looks like, inside and out! I found a number of things I just gotta do this summer on that site! :)

For those familiar with the Klondike Gold Rush, I thought you might find this article about a house in Seattle that used to belong to George W. Carmack interesting. If you're heading to Skagway this summer, you'll hear this fellow's name.

I'm a wanna-be... although I have been 16,500 ft up in the Himalayan Mts. side by side with the glaciers in this part of the world. I look forward to my first Alaskan experience.
