Hey everyone,
I have yet to make it to Alaska and I just recently got out the military and kinda want to escape on an adventure up there. I want to get a winter seasonal job or a fall if anything is open. I'm looking for maybe cooking job or something that invovles lifting objects (warehouse or something) or even some resort or job like that... Mainly a job to do for a bit and then travel somewhere new.

I am having a great time at Coldfoot camp so far, I may try and come back next summer but seward or homer sounds like a cool place to live next year.

Hey Zach,
I have worked there; You will find tons of awesome people there. Girdwood is one of my favorite towns of all time...you couldn't get any better. If all works out, I will try to be there myself this winter. There are also a number of private restaurants to work at and they are all decent spots. Go for it!!

Has anyone here ever worked at Alyeska Resort? I'm considering it for winter work.
