Greetings...

Alaska is one of life’s greatest adventures. From my first visit, Alaska captured my heart, and I have returned again and again to the call of the wild. Welcome to the wilderness destination of Alaska, a place where nature is so powerful it will change you forever.

Fascinated with wildlife, pristine lands and natural wonders Alaska has become my destination of choice. Just as it did to me, Alaska will grab you and won't let go. This vast untamed land will leave you with a rare sense of freedom. Your first visit will result in vivid impressions you will never forget. Even before you embark on your Alaskan adventure I predict you'll want to visit again.

Congratulations and welcome to Holland America/Princess - Alaska! We are delighted you are going to join us for the 2009 season. Your role is critical in fulfilling the mission of our organization - exceeding our guest's expectations.

As you go through the orientation process, keep our mission in mind. We will do our best to help you become a productive member of our staff through orientation and training. In the next few weeks you will meet many coworkers, supervisors and managers. Feel free to let them know what you need to accomplish your new responsibilities. You will need to refer often to the written information you will receive. Please ask your supervisor whenever questions arise.

We are looking forward to a great season and your success at Holland America/Princess – Alaska.

Welcome aboard – you are about to enjoy the best Alaska has to offer with an adventure to match.
