Deals by shopping through the Cool Works®' website

Knowing that the season is right around the corner, now is the time to gear up and get ready for the "after the work day is over" fun. Cool Works® has selected some of our favorite vendors to be highlighted in this gear-centered group. The best part is, besides discounts for you, you'll be helping Cool Works® by shopping for stuff you're already going to buy.

This is a nice little addition to CoolWorks. My first real job was selling camping equipment for three years and I like toys as much as the rest of you. Nextag.com is a price comparison search site that will find you the best prices on anything. I just found a Osprey Elroy courier bag for $75 and they normally go for at least $95.

Hey now,
here's a couple of links to some of my favorite shopping sites for gear, haven't yet compared them to other sites linked to this page.

REI Outlet offers bargins and closeouts from REI
Next Adventure is a great gear shop in Portland offering new and resale outdoor gear as well as shopping online. They buy and trade stuff too.

Hey all, for those of you who want to hike, but don't know a whole lot about the gear involved, safety measures, or anything else, this site helped me out a lot: ABCs of Hiking
