Amtrak is the big one here. Ever done it? Which routes? Which level? Any other trains? (Like Alaska?)

I love train travel. Many of the routes are actually on time. When they are late, however, they can be really late. But that can go with any mode of travel.

Let's see, over the years, I have taken Amtrak from Chicago to New York, Chicago to Washington, DC, Seattle to Chicago, Los Angeles to Chicago, DC to Boston, and Boston to New York.

This May I think I'll be able to squeeze in the Los Angeles to Seattle run.
