I'm not going to the North rim until May. I'm going just north of there, on the AZ strip near Fredonia, from Mid March to the first of May, then I'll just drive down the road an hour to report in at North Rim on May 8.

? ok confusing me now Janette. your going up in March, next month and leaving in May? Cuz Its not even opened until April. not even any employees are heading up there Until April. All the roads are closed with a locked gate and lots of snow

Yes Brenda. Have the contract and North Rim is in the bag, so to speak. For the time from now till then I'm going even further up on the AZ Strip. Actually spoke to them today and confirmed everything there. I'm starting the 16th March thru to the first week in May.

Now I've got all that sorted out I have a little bit of shopping and personal stuff to finish and the remainder of the next couple of weeks is reserved for hanging out by the pool soaking up some sun.

Interesting... Mt. Rainier called me, made me an offer. Now I have to sit and deliberate. Weird, I've never had more than one offer at once. So, anybody know anything about Mt. Rainier?

I am so not having fun right now. Got everything I own trying to pack up and it's just going so slow. I have way to much nick knacks and crap. I should just take it all and dump it in the garbage.

You trying to scare us or excite us Brenda? I'm quite excited too though. I'm actually hoping to leave FL in the next week. I'm hoping to head up to north of North Rim on the AZ strip for a couple of months. If the final details don't work out then I'll head south instead and do some exploring and hiking, maybe hang out at Quartzite for a while. AZ here I come.
