alaska bound this week!!!
NNNOOOOOOO!!!! It's snowing up here!! It's actually blizzard like.....no bueno!
Number one item to not leave home without: Your ID for your I9 paperwork. You must have either a passport or birth certificate, social securiyt cards and government issued photo ID (driver's license, etc). You won't be able to work without these documents, so it is in your best interest to keep them with you so that you arrive with them (don't pack them in your checked luggage). Mail takes a little bit longer to reach Trapper Creek, AK so you don't want to wait to have it mailed to you. Make sure you have your original documents with you when you arrive. If you have any questions on the acceptabel forms of identification, please contact Mindy Bickle at: mbickle@princesstours.com
Your arrival in AK is a few short days away. Are you ready?!!
It's getting closer! Be sure to get all of your hire paperwork submitted, and if you've purchased your own air ticket, please get your information to Mindy: mbickle@princesstours.com. We want to make sure we are there to pick you up.
The sun continues to shine and the snow continues to melt. It's another beautiful day. We have a couple of folks coming in tomorrow and Thursday and then the rest of the supervisors and leads showing up next week. In a few short weeks we willbe hustling and bustling. Hope you're ready!
I can't wait to meet the team this year!
Leaving for AK tonight! 9 days till I see that Mountain... Maybe..
hey i a, reasdy for a new fun ecperience!!!
The snow is melting fast!!! I can't believe how the snow is dissipating. It sure does help to enforce the reality that opening day is just around the corner. We open in 30 days from today!!!! We are so very excited to meet evryone ad get the operations rolling. Are you ready for Alaska?
It's probably a good time to start thinking about packing. It's probably the most challenging part of the move to AK for the summer. How do you decide your must-haves? Well, some advice that I would give is...leave some space in your luggage. You will surely go home with more stuff than what you came with. You won't need any formal wear (unless someone wants to host a prom for a team activities event), but you will need some decent casual wear (think jeans, tasteful t-shirts, long sleeve shirts and casual shirts). Also a good idea to pack at least one "business casual" outfit. If you plan on traveling on Princess trains or motorcoaches, you can't wear jeans, so have some nicer clothes for that. A good, sturdy pair of shoes is important and maybe some good outdoors shoes. Don't forget to pack all of your items for your uniform needs, either. If you have questions about that, check in with the human resources manager.
Bring a softball glove if you want to play, your taptop for staying connected with friends and family and of course a great attitude.
Well...it's 30 days...who's excited?!!!
4-17 Well it took some heavy machines but we can now see the road around the buildings. Yeah Spring!!
